3D Lav
La cartella digitale 3D del lavoratore
The objectives of the 3D LAV project are:
Development of a digital 3D “worker record” based on full-body 3D scanning for the creation of an accurate digital twin of the worker, including anatomical models and anthropometric data.
Development of a software platform for the automatic extraction of indicators for the screening and monitoring of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs), enabling non-invasive and continuous assessment in industrial environments.
Specifically, the 3D LAV project aims to:
Improve workplace health and safety by enabling early identification and monitoring of musculoskeletal disorders through non-invasive 3D technologies.
Support the ergonomic design and optimization of workstations and the customization of wearable assistive devices, such as exoskeletons, based on real worker anatomy. Enable data-driven prevention strategies through the creation of a centralized database of digital worker twins and health-related indicators.
In terms of economic and organizational sustainability, the 3D LAV project aims to reduce costs related to work-related injuries, improve productivity and worker well-being, and support scalable adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions for occupational health, safety, and ergonomics.
